CLIENT Lancôme – Middle East

PROJECT Music for fashion show and after party
KEYWORDS research, editing, mixing, production

DESCRIPTION The Lancôme Colour Design Awards, which took place in Dubai in 2007, is the most prestigious fashion award for young designers in the Middle East. The sound track for the fashion show was created on location, inspired by the designer’s input and collections. One challenging aspect was the removal of specific vocal content of some tracks on the spot, due to cultural restraints.

CLIENT Biennale Internationale du Lin de Portneuf

PROJECT Exhibition soundscape
KEYWORDS research, composing, editing, mixing, mastering

DESCRIPTION The organizers of the Linen Biennale were looking for a sound experience for the exhibition space. Though they gave our team carte blanche, it was clear the sound environment had to be non-intrusive, since it was playing continuously throughout the three-month exhibition. The result was a non-descriptive narrative that reflected the unique nature of the fabric in its natural environment and the actual design process. It also incorporated quotes from individual designers about their relationship with linen.
